Assam Inland Water Department Recruitment Details

1. Senior Project Manager (Technical)

No of posts: 01

Remuneration: The monthly remuneration would be in the range of 150000/- to 200000/- or 30% hike on the existing remuneration. Depending on qualification, experience and competency of the candidate, the remuneration is negotiable.

Required Eligibility:

• Qualification: Master degree in Civil Engineering /Mechanical Engineering /Construction Management or relate discipline. Experience in shipping Industry with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an added advantage.
• Work Experience:
  • Candidates must be having minimum 22 years’ experience of which majority of experience should be in project management of large-scale infrastructure projects preferably in the transport department in any State Government/Central Government/Semi Government Bodies/ PSUs/large private organization.
  • Experience in port, shipping or marine infrastructure will be preferred.

2. Senior Procurement & Contract Management Specialist

No of posts: 01

Remuneration: The monthly remuneration would be in the range of 150000/- to 200000/- or 30% hike on the existing remuneration. Depending on qualification, experience and competency of the candidate, the remuneration is negotiable.

Required Eligibility:

• Qualification:
  • Master degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Public Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business or Commerce).
  • Candidates having Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (PDPP), Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP), Certificate in Contract Management Program (CCMP) will be preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge on World Bank procurement guidelines and framework is an added advantage.
• Work Experience:
  • Candidates must be having minimum 22 (Twenty-Two) years of professional experience in the field of procurement and related activities in any State Government /Central Government /Semi Government Bodies /PSUs/ large private organization.
  • Candidates must be having working experience as a procurement official for at least 5 (five) years in any World Bank /Externally Aided Projects out of which at least 2 (two) year experience in the rank of expert/specialist.
  • Hands on experience in e-procurement portal will be preferred.

3. Procurement Management Expert

No of posts: 01

Remuneration: The monthly fixed remuneration will be Rs. 60,000 per month.

Required Eligibility:

• Qualification:
  • Master degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Public Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business or Commerce).
  • Relevant training in procurement works will be preferred.
  • Candidates having ‘Professional Diploma in Public Procurement’ (PDPP), Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP), Certificate in Contract Management Program (CCMP) will be preferred.
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement related experience with State Government/Central Government /Semi Government Bodies /PSUs/ large private organization.
  • Candidates having hands-on experience in procurement policies & procedures of World Bank/ Externally Aided Projects/ State government/ Central Government/Large House Corporate/Semi Government Bodies/PSU for at least one year will be preferred
  • Expert knowledge & hands on experience in e-procurement portal is an added advantage.
