Gauhati High Court Recruitment Details
1. Stenographer Grade-II
No of posts: 35 Posts
Scale of Pay: PB-3, ₹22,000 – ₹97,000 GP: ₹9,700
Required Eligibility: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. Candidates should also possess Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from an ITI, Polytechnic or other recognized institute.
2. Private Secretary (Stenographer Grade-I)
No of posts: 03 Posts
Scale of Pay: PB-4, ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 GP: ₹13,300
Required Eligibility: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, preferably with a diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in shorthand and 50 wpm on a computer. Due weightage is given to a law graduate.
3. Chauffeur (Driver)
No of posts: 01 Post
Scale of Pay: PB-2, ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 GP: ₹5,200
Required Eligibility: Candidate must possess minimum educational qualification of Class X (HSLC) from a recognized Board and a valid LMV driving licence issued by competent authority.
4. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

Scale of Pay: PB-1, ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 GP: ₹3,900
Required Eligibility: Candidate must possess minimum educational qualification of Class VIII (8th) standard and those who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are ineligible.
