Director of Land Records & Survey Assam has published a recruitment notification for the below mentioned posts. Interested eligible candidates are hereby invited to attend the “Walk in Interview” for the situation of Consultant 4 (Four) for State Project Management Unit (SPMU) under SVAMITVA Scheme to be held on 12 March, 2022 from 10:30 AM in the Office of the Director of Land Records & Survey etc., Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati-32.

Post Details of Directorate of Land Records & Survey Assam Recruitment
1. Senior Consultant
No of Post: 01
Monthly Remuneration (Maximum): Rs. 65,000/- (Fixed)
Core Area: Land Revenue Administration
Essential Qualification:
- Retired ACS Officer
- Having sufficient experience in Land Revenue Administration
Age Limit: Max. 65 as on 01.01.2022
2. Geospatial Consultant
No of Post: 01
Monthly Remuneration (Maximum): Rs. 50,000/- (Fixed)
Core Area: GIS
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc./ M.A/M. Tech/ M.Sc.(Tech) in Geo Science /Geo Informatics /Remote Sensing and GIS Geography /Earth Science/ Environmental Science or equivalent from recognized University
- At least two years experience in GIS mapping in Govt./Semi Govt./ Autonomous organization/ Private Company
- Having Proficiency in map Survey with knowledge of Geo- spatial data
- Should be able to operate Google Earth and prepare KML files as and when required.
- Experience in AutoCAD and GIS database management
- Should have knowledge of GIS, be able to operate QGIS/Arc GIS/GRASS and prepare/ modify/ update shape files as and when required and compile from various sources such as satellite imagery/ toposheets, reports etc.
Age Limit: Max. 35 as on 01.01.2022
3. Survey Consultant
No of Post: 02
Monthly Remuneration (Maximum): Rs. 50,000/- (Fixed)
Core Area: Survey
Essential Qualification:
- Responsible for managing the day to day program management activities.
- Keep track of project progress; keep the senior management and other important stack holders informed about project progress.
- Support and guide the demarcation process, help preparing drone survey schedule and other pre- survey activities.
- Workshop/ Capacity building training for the ground functionaries involved in field activities.
- Support in ground truthing of maps
- Any other relevant activity
Age Limit: Max. 35 as on 01.01.2022
