Name of Post: Librarian cum Archive Officer

No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/- (Level-10)

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline from University recognized by UGC. and
• Master of Library & Information Science from University recognized by UGC with minimum 55%. and
• Knowledge of computer application in Library and Information Management. and
• Working experience in Library/ Information Centre is preferable.

Proof of Residency: The candidate must upload PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam or Voter ID.

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021.

Age Relaxation:

The category-wise age relaxation is as follows –

• SC/ ST: By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
• OBC/ MOBC: By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
• PWBD: By 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
