Revenue Circle wise Vacancies:
- North Guwahati Revenue Circle: 6 Nos.
- Kamalpur Revenue Circle: 7 Nos.
- Rangia Revenue Circle: 7 Nos.
- Kayan Revenue Circle: 4 Nos.
- Hajo Revenue Circle: 4 Nos.
- Boko Revenue Circle: 8 Nos.
- Palashbari Revenue Circle: 8 Nos.
- Chamaria Revenue Circle: I Nos.
- Chaygaon Revenue Circle: 4 Nos.
- Goroimari Revenue Circle: 4 Nos.
- Nagarbera Revenue Circle: 2 Nos.
Salary: Rs. 14,000 (Rupees Fourteen thousand) only- per month.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be minimum 10th passed from Board/Institution recognised by the State/Central Government.
Age: Candidate must not be less than 30 years as on 1st January, 2026. Age limit of candidates will be calculated on the basis of Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority, HSLC Admit card/Certificates issued by recognised Board/Council. No other documents shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/she seeks appointment.
- Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.
- Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues (furnish Bakijai Clearance Certificate).
- Candidate should not be a government employee.
- Candidate should not be a member of any political party.
- Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/her name in the area (village) in which he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
- Preference shall be given to the family members of Gaonpradhan and views of the Mouzadar shall be taken into consideration.
- Candidate should be a person of high status and command and have a respectable position in the society.
- Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partners (in cognizance to Government of Assam Notification dated 19th July, 2019 vide No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24).
- Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/multiple partners.
How to Apply for Kamrup District Recruitment 2026
Candidates must submit their applications in the Standard Form only. Applications in any other format will not be accepted. The duly filled application form, along with all required documents, must be submitted to the in Land Revenue Branch of the Integrated District Commissioner Office, Kamrup, Amingaon (1st Floor) from the date of publication of this advertisement till 20th August 2026.
Documents Required Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:
- Educational qualification Certificate, Mark sheet, Admit Card of HSLC.
- Age proof Certificate (i.e birth Certificate issued by the competent authority or HSLC Admit Card/Certificates issued by the recognized Board/Council).
- Three recent passport size colour photographs of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with white background.
- PAN Card.
- Voter ID Card.
- Small Family Norms affidavit/Self Declaration stating that the applicant does not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single/multiple partners (as per Govt. Notification No.RLR.187/2007/Pt/24, Dtd.-19-07-2019.
- Jamabandi in respect of the applicant or his/her parents of the concerned village against which he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan to show that he/she has land or immovable property in that village.
- Mouzadar certificate confirming that the applicant belongs to the village where he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Self-declaration stating that he/she does not belong to any political party and not a government employee.
- Bakijai clearance certificate.
- Cast certificate (if any).
