GMC Recruitment 2021 – The following vacancies shall be filed purely on temporary and contractual basis through WALK IN INTERVIEW under the DHR-ICMR funded projects entitled “Understanding the cross talk between the host and the pathogen : A way to identify the novel biomarker for the diagnosis of Japanese encephalitis virus infection” and ” A multicentric study on Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE)  from the North Eastern Region of India: early diagnosis to research potential for understanding disease pathogenesis” in the Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical Collage, Guwahalt-32, Assam.

A) Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of post: 01
Salary: Rs. 35,000/-  plus 16% HRA per month
Required Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in Microbiology/ Life Science/Biotechnology and relevant subject with NET/GATE and two years of research experience.
Age: Not more than 35 years

B) Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of post: 01
Salary: Rs. 31,000/-  plus 16% HRA per month
Required Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in Microbiology/ Life Science/Biotechnology and relevant subject with NET/GATE.
Age: Not more than 35 years

C) Name of the Post: Laboratory Technician
Number of post: 02
Salary: Rs. 18,000/-  per month
Required Eligibility: 12 pass in Science subject and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/laboratory experience
Age: Not more than 30 years
