Applications are invited by District Agricultural Officer & Member Secretary, DFSMEC, Bongaigaon from intending candidates for the post of Consultants and Technical Assistants post under National Food Security Mission (Rice) & National Food Security Mission (Pulse) in Bongaigaon district 2019-20.
1. Name of the post: Consultant

Required Educational Qualification & Experience:
1) Bachelor degree in Agriculture with Master degree in Agronomy /Agril Extension) Soil Science Plant Protection I or any other agricultural subject, having at least 10 years of field experience in crop production extension. In case of departmental experienced personals, qualification may be relaxed by the DFSMEC.
2) The person should have ability of team leadership & motivation
Salary per month:
Rs.45,000.00 + Conveyance allowance Traveling Allowances As 20001. per month + Daily Allowance @ Rs200/- per day for 10 days in a month.
2. Name of the post:Technical Assistant
No of posts: 2
Required Educational Qualification & Experience :
1) Bachelor degree in Agriculture with computer Skills In case of non-availability, of agriculture graduates candidates with bachelor degree in science may be considered
2) Person with experience of research and extension will be given preference.
Salary per month: Rs.30,000.00+ Conveyance allowance/ Traveling allowances l2 Rs. 15007- per month +Daily Allowance Rs. 150/- per day for 10 days in a month.

Conditions:
1) The conditions would be on contract bass for three month period Exension of job tenure of the incumbent is subject to satisfactory performance
2) Applicant with working experience in NFSM programme would get preference
3) Other conditions will be same as per NFSM guidelines
