NHM Assam Recruitment 2023 Details
1. Superintending Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month: Rs. 38,000/- (Negotiable)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section A & Section B) in Civil Engineering from any recognized university
- Minimum 10 years experience in planning, design and execution of building works is essential.
- Experience in construction of Hospital/ Health facility is desirable.
- Retired persons of Government Departments from the rank of Executive Engineer (Civil) and above with sound health condition will be given preference.
Age : up to 62 years as on 1st January 2023
2. Project Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 02
Remuneration per month: Rs. 36,000/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section A & Section B) in Civil Engineering from any recognized university
- Minimum 8 years experience in planning, design and execution of building works is essential.
- Experience in construction of Hospital/ Health facility is desirable.
- Retired persons of Government Departments from the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and above with sound health condition will be given preference.
Age: Up to 62 years as on 1st January 2023
3. Assistant Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 14
Remuneration per month: Rs. 27,500/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section Section–B) in civil engineering from any recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 60 % Marks.
- Minimum 3 years experience in execution and supervision of construction works. Preference will be given to the persons having working experience in health sector organizations.
Age: Up to 43 years as on 1st January 2023
4. Junior Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 04
Remuneration per month: Rs. 21,000/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution with minimum aggregate of 60% Marks.
- Persons having minimum 3 years experience in building construction and fully convergent with measurement of building works including payment procedures.
- Retired persons from Govt. Department as Junior Engineer with above experience and sound health condition may also take part.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Assamese.
- Working knowledge of computer is preferable
Age: Up to 62 years as on 1st January 2023
5. Consultant Training
No. of Posts: 22
Remuneration per month: Rs. 65,000/- (for PG candidates) Rs. 50,000/- (for MBBS)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential: MBBS Degree from Govt. recognized institution
- Desirable: MD/DNB (Gynecology & Obstetrics)/ Degree/ Diploma in Public Health Management.
- Experience : Minimum 5 Years experience in teaching and training of Health Professional.
Age: Up to 65 years as on 1st January 2023
6. State Project Coordinator
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month : Rs. 50,000/- (Negotiable)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential: MBBS Degree from Govt. recognized institution and Working knowledge of computer.
- Desirable:
- Master’s or MD in Hospital Administration/ Public Health/ Preventive and Social Medicine/ Community Health Administration or MBA (Hospital Administration).
- Experience in the specialty.
- Experience of developing / implementing hospital/ health care standards.
- Experience of working in an organization for developing and operating accreditation structure in the country e.g. NABH, NABL etc.
- Experience of handling legal issues.
Age: Up to 65 years as on 1st January 2023.
7. State Coordination Officer
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month: Rs.40,000/- (for nonmedical) Rs.50,000/- (for MBBS)
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS Degree from Govt. recognized institution/ Master’s Degree in Management Sciences/ Health Management from Govt. recognized institute.
- Knowledge of logistics/ Statistics, Social Work and human resource.
- 3 years experience in Blood Services.
- Strong Communication and documentation skills in English.
- Experience in Govt. Sectors (PSU), Social Sector will be preferred.
Age: Up to 43 years as on 1st January 2023
8. Consultant Diagnostics
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month: Rs. 65,000/-
Eligibility Criteria: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Pathology/ Microbiology from a Govt. recognized Medical College.
- Computer Proficiency: MS Office
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skill.
- Desirable: Minimum 5 years experience in relevant field of Laboratory Management.

9. Consultant – FPLMIS
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month: Rs. 40,000/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.Tech/ MCA/ BE(IT)/ BE (Computer Science)/ M.Sc (IT)/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ DOEAC B Level or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in software development.
- Should have experience of software development using open Source Technology.
- Preference will be given to persons with mobile application development/ GIS related application development.
Age: Up to 43 years as on 1st January 2023
10. State Consultant (Quality Assurance)
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration per month: Rs. 50,000/- Or Rs. 65,000/- for SPM/CM candidates (Negotiable)
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS/ Dental/ AYUSH/ Nursing graduate preferably with Masters in Hospital Administration/ Health Management (MHA time or equivalent) with 5 years experience in Public Health/ Hospital Administration, out of which, at least 3 years work in the field of quality in health care would be desirable.
- Training and experience of implementing a recognized quality system like NABH/ISO 9001:2008/Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen /QA for Public Health Facilities (MoHFW, India) would be preferred.

11. Programmer/GIS Expert/ Software Coordinator
No. of Posts: 03
Remuneration per month: Rs. 30,000/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.Tech/ MCA/ BE(IT)/ BE (Computer Science)/ M.Sc (IT)/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ DOEAC B Level or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in software development.
- Should have experience of software development using open Source Technology.
