Details of Social Welfare Department Recruitment 2022

1. Anganwadi Worker

No of posts: 35

Required Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (Class 12th). If HS passed candidates not available in that particular area, then HSLC/ AHM passed candidates will be considered as eligible.

2. Anganwadi Helper

No of posts: 45

Required Eligibility: Candidates must have passed HSLC/ AHM. If HSLC/ AHM passed candidates not available in that particular area, then Class IX passed candidates will be considered as eligible.

Age: Age of the candidate shall be 18 to 44 years as on 1 January, 2022.

Please Note: The candidate who apply for the post of Anganwadi Worker/ Anganwadi Helper shall be a local women residing in the concerned Anganwadi Centre survey area where Anganwadi Centre is located. The residential proof in respect of the candidate for the post of Anganwadi Worker/Anganwadi Helper of Angnawadi Centre applied for will be issued by the Gaon Bura/Ward Member of the concerned Gaon Panchayat/President of the Gaon Panchayat for Rural area and Ward Commissioner/Chairperson of Municipal Board/Town Committee for Urban area.

How to Apply for Social Welfare Department Recruitment 2022

The prescribed application form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Paschim Nalbarl ICDS Project, Chamata, Nalbari from 4th of July, 2022 up to 13t of July2022 in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 03:00 P.M.

The filled up application will be received in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Paschim Nalbari ICDS Project, Chamata, Nalbari in all working days from 4h of July, 2022 in between 11:00 AM to 03:00 P.M. The last date of received of application is up to 13thof July,2022 till 04:00 p.m. No application will be received after the stipulated date and time.

The candidates should submit self-attested photo copy of the certificates/testimonials along with a passport size photograph attached with the form. The candidates must produce the original certificates/testimonials etc. at the time of interview/personality test.

Selection process of  Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper in Assam

• For the Anganwadi Centre, Centre’s located in the village locality having more than 40% of SC, ST or Tea Tribe population the selection of Anganwadi Worker/Anganwadi Helper of Anganwadi Centre shall be made from amongst the said majority community. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Tea Tribes communities should submit a certificate issued by the concerned competent authority.
• As per Govt. Notification No. SWD/449/2007/29 Dtd. 12.09.2007, 3% post shall be reserved for differently able candidates. Photocopy of the Disability certificate issued by the competent authority should be attached along with the application form and the original disable certificate to be produced to the selection committee at the time of interview cum personality test
• Married women should be selected from the local village where the Anganwadi Centre is established and living with her husband. But it may be relaxed in case of divorced women and widow.
