Applications are invited from eligible Female candidates for the following positions for engagement in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Nagaon (A Residential Schools for Girls, Class VI-XII). The engagement will be purely on temporary & contractual basis initially for a Period of 11 (Eleven) months. The contractual engagement will neither be regularized under Samagra Siksha nor will be absorbed under any Job / Government of Assam in future.

1. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Arts)

Fixed remuneration per month: Rs. 22,000.00 per month for TET Qualified Rs. 20,000.00 per month for Non-TET
Required Eligibility:
For TET Qualified
- Master Degree in concerned subject with B.Ed and Higher Secondary TET qualified.
- Preference : Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HSS level
On non availability of Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates
- Minimum educational qualification: Master Degree in (subject) with B.Ed.
- Preference: Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HSS level.
2. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Science)

- Master Degree in concerned subject with B.Ed and Higher Secondary TET qualified.

On non availability of Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates
- Minimum educational qualification: Master Degree in (subject) with B.Ed.
- Preference: Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HSS level.
Age: Below 45 years of age as on 1st January, 2022, Upper age relaxation will be applicable as per govt. rules.
Please Note:
- Non TET (Higher Secondary) Candidates may also apply for the above positions subject to fulfillment of essential Qualification. Only in case of Non-availability of TET (Higher Secondary) qualified candidate, Non TET (Higher Secondary) candidates will be selected but the selected candidate should qualify Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET (Higher Secondary) Examinations.
- Head Teacher and Full Time Assistant Teachers will have to stay within the School cum Hostel Campus in all working days and in holidays except during the vacation when KGBV children will go home for vacation.
- All posts are reserved for Assamese Medium & Female candidate only.

- One candidate can apply for one position only.
- Application to be submitted in prescribe Format as given in the important link section along with self attested all relevant documents/Passport size Photograph to the District Mission Coordinator, SSA, Nagaon, during office hours on or before 30th March, 2022. Any Postal delay will not be considered, Incomplete application without relevant documents will be summarily rejected.
- List of shortlisted candidates with date, venue & time of Verification cum interview will be circulated on the Office Notice Board by the District Mission Co-ordinator SSA, Nagaon on 05.04,2022. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the verification Cum interview on the date time to be fixed for this purpose with all original testimonials. No separate call letters will be issued.
