CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment 2022 – For 10 Project Staff Posts

CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR has invited application from eligible and interested candidates for recruitment of 10 Project Staff Posts in the cadre of Project Associate, Manager, Technical Consultant and Technical Officer. Post Details of CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment 2022

1. Project Associate-I [Post Code-1]

No of posts: 2

Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- per month+ HRA for NET/GATE qualifiers & Rs.25,000/- per month+ HRA for others.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. with specialization in Organic/ Inorganic/ Physical/ Applied/ Polymer Chemistry. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified/experienced candidates.

Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

2. Project Associate-I [Post Code-2]

No of posts: 2

Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- per month+ HRA for NET/GATE qualifiers & Rs.25,000/- per month+ HRA for others.

Educational Qualification: 1st class B.E/B. Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Desirable:

• M. Tech in Chemical Engineering or allied Engineering subjects
• GATE Qualified
• Exposure in wastewater treatment/Pilot plant operation candidate will be given preference

Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

 

3. Project Associate-I [Post Code-3]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- per month+ HRA for NET/GATE qualifiers & Rs.25,000/- per month+ HRA for others

Educational Qualification: 1st class MSc in Organic Chemistry.

Desirable: Experience in isolation of natural product or NET (JRL/LS)/GATE qualified

Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

4. Project Assistant [Post Code-4]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month

Educational Qualification: First Class BSc in Chemistry

Desirable: Experience in extraction of biomolecules and exposure in operation/ handling of sophisticated analytical equipment’s.

Age Limit: 30 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

 

5. Project Assistant [Post Code-5]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable: Desirable Knowledge in Boiler Operation

Age Limit: 30 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

6. Manager [Post Code-6]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: MSc in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Agriculture and MBA OR BTech in Biotechnology and MBA.

Experience: At least 5 years of experiences in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes. Prior experiences of technology business incubators / start-ups is must. (Candidate, without any experiences in technology business incubators / startups may not apply)

Desirable: Ph.D. in Management/Engineering/Science. Understanding of Government procedures, familiarity with north-eastern ecosystem for business incubators / start-ups.

Age Limit: 50 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

 

7. Technical Consultant [Post Code-7]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: MSc in Life Sciences.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes. Prior experiences of mentoring innovators / start-ups is must. (Candidate, without any experiences in providing mentorship for innovators/ startups may not apply)

Desirable: Ph.D. in Management/Engineering/Science. Knowledge of protection and transfer of intellectual property rights, knowledge of innovation/start-up funding, network in the innovation ecosystem of north-eastern India.

Age Limit: 45 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)

8. Technical Officer [Post Code-8]

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: MSc in Life Science.

Experience: At least 2 years of experiences in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes and must be familiar with handling of Scientific Equipment’s as required in a Biological incubation centre.

Desirable: Ph.D. in Engineering/Science. Prior experiences at technology business incubators / start-ups etc. is desirable.

Age Limit: 40 Years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)
