Applications are invited by IIT Guwahati from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer and applications are also invited for an online interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled, “Center for Technology Excellence in Water Purification” at the department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati, project entitled, “(Cancer immunotherapy initiative In India (DUCI3): Repurposing anti-COVID19 immunity for cancer immunotherapy) at the department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.

1. Assistant Executive Engineer
No of Post: 01
Pay Matrix Level: 10; (PB3 ₹15600 – 39100, Grade Pay: ₹5400 as per 6th CPC)
Educational & Other Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 6 years working experience in design & estimation/supervision of construction of roads & multistoried buildings / maintenance of water supply and sewage system in large campus like IIT Guwahati.
Age Limit: Below 35 years (No upper age limit for regular employees of IIT Guwahati). The date for determination of age will be as on 21.02.2022.
2. Sr. Project Scientist
No of Post: 01
Pay Recommended (Rs.): 82,450/-
Duration of Appointment (in months): 11
Qualifications: Ph.D Degree (completed) +3 Yrs Exp with Machine Learning, Information theory ,Bioinformatics, Probabilistic and Statistical Modeling, Programming in R, Python, C, Java, Matlab
3. JRF (GATE)
No of Post: 01
Pay Recommended (Rs.): 29,000/-
Duration of Appointment (in months): 6
Qualifications: B Tech/M Tech in Chemical Engineering Requirement Minimum 10 number of publication and at least one patent in the related area. Experienced in writing book and book chapters
How to apply and selection process for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2022
For Assistant Executive Engineer: Applicants should fill in the online application form provided in the link below: https://online.iitg.ac.in/recruitment The link will be active from 5.00 PM (IST) on 12.01.2022. Last date of receipt of online application: 21.02.2022 till 5 P.M. (IST).
For Sr. Project Scientist: Candidates have to appear in the online Interview at 11:00 AM on 20.01.2022. They have to send advance copy of their CV mentioning all educational qualifications, experience etc. to [email protected]. within 18.01.2022 (05:00 PM). Shortlisted candidates will be called through e-mail for the online interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately.
For JRF (GATE): Candidates have to appear in the online Interview. Advance copy of CV along with all educational qualification certificates, experience certificates should be sent to the Principal Investigator before 20.01.2022. Venue: Online. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately.
Application Fee For IIT Guwahati
For Assistant Executive Engineer: Applicants will have to make payment of a non-refundable application fee through online mode only. Fee payable by the applicant are as follows: ₹500 (for Unreserved and OBC applicants) & ₹250 (for SC/ST/PwD applicants). Women applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.
