Post Details of KBVSAS University Nalbari Recruitment:
i) Name of the Post: Treasurer
Number of Post: 01
Sale of Pay: Level -14
Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic level 11 and above or with 8 years’ service in Academic level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and or other institutions of higher education Or
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Desirable qualifications:
- Working experience of Budgeting & Financial Accounting etc. in Autonomous Bodies/Universities etc.
- Good working knowledge of rules and regulations of State Universities relating to Accounts/ Audit, service conditions and related financial matters.
Tenure of Appointment:
- The position is a tenure post for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of joining.
- The age of superannuation for the post is 60 (sixty) years.

ii) Name of the Post: Librarian
Number of Post: 01
Sale of Pay: Level -14
Minimum Qualification:
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is practiced.
- At least 10 (ten) as a Librarian at any level in University Library or 10(ten) years teaching experience as Assistant/ Associate Professor in library Science or 10 (ten) years as College
- Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
- A Ph. D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping.
