IOCL Assam Oil Division Recruitment For Apprentice – Indian Oil Corporation Limited, (Assam Oil Division) invites applications from eligible candidates for post of  Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Technician Apprentice Discipline – Chemical, Trade Apprentice -Secretarial Assistant and Trade Apprentice- Accountant for Assam Oil Division, Digboi Refinery as Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 ( as amended) in the Trade/ Disciplines mentioned below 

Post Details:

i) Name of the Post: Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Discipline- Chemical
Total no of posts: 11
Educational Qualification: 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)

ii) Name of the Post: Technician Apprentice Discipline – Chemical
Total no of posts: 3
Educational Qualification: 3 years Diploma In Chemical Engg. / Refinery & Petro- Chemical Engg.

iii) Name of the Post: Trade Apprentice -Secretarial Assistant
Total no of posts: 10
Educational Qualification: 3 years B.A./ B.Sc. / B.Com

iv) Name of the Post: Trade Apprentice- Accountant
Total no of posts: 2
Educational Qualification: 3 Year B .Corn

Stipend:

• As prescribed under the Apprentices Act, the Apprentices shall be paid stipend of an amount equivalent to a prescribed percentage of the minimum wages applicable in the State. In addition, the Refinery pays Rs. 2500/- per month to an apprentice towards stationery, conveyance and miscellaneous expenses etc., wherever applicable
