ASSAM, NORTHEAST CURRENT AFFAIRS
- The Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) 2018 examination result declared by Board Of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) on 25 May 2018. A total of 1,64,492 boys appeared in the examination, of which 97,056 cleared the exam, registering a pass percentage of 59. Of the 1,73,078 girls who appeared, 92,135 passed (53.23 per cent). Total 60,987 students cleared the exam with first division marks, while 81,853 students got second and 46,351 third divisions.
- Raktim Bhuyan of Moonlit High School in Sonitpur topped the list of rank holders of Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) 2018 by securing 593 marks out of 600.
- Md Mizanur Rahman of Kamandanga High Madrassa by securing 556 marks bagged the 1st position in AHM exam 2018 under Board Of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA)
