Applications are invited by The Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam, from eligible candidates who are citizen of India as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India and fulfil the eligibility norms of educational qualification, age etc. against various category as mentioned below of purely temporary contractual posts. The vacancies have been created under the scheme “Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)”

Name of the post: State Programme Coordinator

Number of Post :1 (UR-1)

Educational Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition/ Medicine/ Health Management/Social Work/Rural Management.

Age : In between 18 years to 38 years as on 01.01.2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.

Remuneration : Rs. 45,000/- per month

Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience of working with the Government/ Non-Government organizations.
Proficiency in using MS-Office.

iii. Proficiency in local language and English.

2. Name of the post: State Programme Assistant

Number of Post :1 (UR-1)

Educational Qualification : Graduation with Major in Social Sciences/ Social Work/Rural Management/ Statistics

Age : in between 18 years and 38 years as on 01.01.2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.

Experience:

At least 2 years experience of working with the Government/ Non-Government organizations.
Proficiency in using MS-Office, data entry and analysis.

iii. Proficiency in local language and English.

Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month

3. Name of the posts: District Programme Coordinator [SC-02, ST (P)- 3, ST (H)- 1, OBC -7, UR-14]

(to be posted in different districts of Assam)

Educational Qualification :Post Graduate in Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition/ Medicine, Health Management/Social Work/Rural Management.

Age : In between 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01.01.2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.

Experience:

At least 1 year experience of working with the Government/ Non-Government organizations.
Proficiency in using MS-Office.

iii. Proficiency in local language and English.

Remuneration :Rs. 35,000/- per month

4. Name of the posts: District Programme Assistant (to be posted in different districts of Assam) [SC-02, ST (P)- 3, ST (H)- 1, OBC -7, UR-14]

Educational Qualification : Graduation degree with Major in Social Sciences/ Social Work/ Rural Management/ Statistics

Age : In between 18 years and 38 years as on 01.01.2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.

How to Apply:

The interested candidates having requisite educational qualification and experience may submit duly filled up Application (Appendix) to “The Director, Social Welfare, Assam, Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-1”.

Mode of selection:

The selection will be on the basis of Written Test followed by Interview and Skill Test. Name of Short listed candidates for the Written Test will be intimated through their respective Email ID as mentioned in their Application Form annexed herewith.

The candidates who will qualify in the Written Test will be called for Viva-Voce & Skill Test. The schedule of Interview & Skill Test will be published in leading newspapers and will be posted in website http://socialwelfare.assam.gov.in. No separate call letters will be issued to concerned candidates.

Important Notes:

Applicants will have to submit duly filled up application (Appendix) alongwith attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, age, percentage of disability, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates only) and experience. Candidates will have to produce the original certificates as and when required.
Reservation: For SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC/MOBC category candidates as per statutory provisions made by Govt. of Assam, including reservation for persons with disabilities as per existing norms. Candidates must enclose the copy of caste certificate & copy of Disability certificate for disabled person (where applicable)
