Details of Directorate of Health Services Assam Staff Nurse Recruitment:

Name of the post: Staff Nurse

No of Posts: 500+332=832 (as per new notification vacancy is incresed. Last Date for online application is also extended.)

Reservation : As per Government rule

Required Educational Qualification:

Applicants with GNM/B.Sc. Nursing Course passed from a Government recognized Institute, and have registered with the Assam Nurses, Midwives’ and Health Visitors Council.

Scale of Pay: Rs 14,000/- to 49,000/- plus GP Rs. 6,800 /- per month

Reservation: Reservation of posts for SC/ ST/ OBC (MOBC) / women candidates and physically handicapped candidates will be as per prevailing Govt. rules.

Age: Applicants age must be in between 18 years and 43 years as on 01.01.2017. The upper age limit in relaxable by 5 years for reserved category ie. SC, STP, STH Candidates only.

Fees: The application fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred fifty) only for General Category Candidates and Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) & ST(H) category candidates will have to be paid through Treasury Challan to the Head of Account “0210-M&PH-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipts” and the scanned copy of the application fee paid challan to be uploaded while submitting the online application form. BPL candidates are exempted from paying application fee and they are required to upload their BPL certificate from the competent authority for such exemption of fee along with the application.

Important points:

Applicants must apply through online mode only. Online Application Forms available at the official website of Directorate of Health Services, Assam (www.dhs.assam.gov.in).
The following list of documents in original will have to be produced at the time of document verification and photocopies of all certificates etc are to be submitted:

(a) Duly self-attested 2 (two) Copies of recent passport size colour photograph.

(b) HSLC admit card or birth certificate for age proof.

(d) Caste certificate (if applicable)

(e) PRC – Permanent resident-ship certificate

(f) Employment Exchange Registration Certificate. Certificate of training experience / Extra Curricular etc.

(g) Nursing Registration Certificate authenticated by Registrar, Assam Nursing Council.

Detailed list of eligible candidates for each post along with the details of selection test shall be notified in due course of time and shall be displayed in the website www.dhs.assam.gov.in.
Applicants with experience of serving in the Government sector including National Health Mission (NHM) etc. will be given for Due weigthage.
The number of post to be filled-up may undergo change depending upon vacancies.
