• Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level 111 the concerned subject (Sociology, Assamese, Mathematics and Mass Communication & Journalism) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Working knowledge in MS Office, Internet and Multimedia.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English.
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
• Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (iv), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.
• NET /SLET /SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/ SET is not conducted.

Desirable: Experience and exposure in ODL system.

NOTE: Good academic record as defined by Tezpur University is as follows:

• First Class / Division both in loth and 10+2.
• First Class in first degree.
• 55% in Master’s degree. Five percent (5%) relaxation to SC/ST/PWD candidates as per rules will be applicable.

Pay: Rs. 30,000/- (fixed) Per Month.

• Good academic record with a Master’s Degree in any subject having at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B+’ in the UGC sevenpoint scale (relaxation to SC/ST/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).
• Working knowledge in MS Office, Internet and Multimedia.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English.

Desirable: Experience and exposure in examination, evaluation and administrative functions.

Pay: Rs. 28,000/- (fixed) Per Month.

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years (relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).

• BCA / B.Sc. (IT) / DOEACC “A” level.
• Strong knowledge in computer programming and networking.
• Working skills in multimedia / web-based learning.

Desirable: Experience and exposure in ODL system.

Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed) Per Month.

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years (relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Working knowledge in computer operations, multimedia.

Desirable: Knowledge in accounting.

Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed) Per Month.

Age limit: Not exceeding 18-27 years (relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).
