The Directorate’s earlier advertisement for recruitment to various posts as published Vide No.AE.34 /2008/151, dtd. 22.01.2016 has been cancelled due to technical reasons. i) Name of the Post: Advertisement-cum- Circulation Manager

No of Posts: 1

Scale of Pay: P.B. Rs. 22000 – 87000 G.P. Rs. 9100/-

Required Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification is Bachelor degree in Arts. Science or Commerce from any recognized University Other essential qualification:
- Candidates must have adequate knowledge In office correspondence and Accounts work
- Must be able to maintain proper records and accounts of subscribers’ register, agency register, free mailing register and Advertisement register etc.
- Must have experience and knowledge of the fine art of insertion and display of advertisement, both classified and display
- Must be able to build up circulation of the paper including advertisement and
- Good command over English and Assamese languages.

Required Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. Science or Commerce from any recognised University with minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Applications with typing skill in Assamese.

Other essential qualification: A candidate must be capable of translating any matter from Assamese into English and vice versa In chaste language and must have good command over English language.

Librarian:
- Educational qualification: The minimum educational qualification Is Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Graduate in any discipline with PG diploma in Library Science from any recognized University.
- Other qualification: Adequate knowledge of latest software packages of computer application in Library Management. DTP and Internet.
Mishing Journalist:
- Educational qualifications: The minimum educational qualification is Graduate in Arts/Science / Commerce from any recognized University. Preference will be given to Those who passed the Mishing Language Certificate Examination.
- Other qualifications: The candidate must have good knowledge/command over Mishing, Assamese & English language.

No application can be filled up after expiry of the given time as the link will be disabled.
Since the applications are submitted online, the question of submission of applications through proper channel in case of the candidates already employed becomes redundant However, such candidates shall intimate their appropriate appointing authority about submission of application in writing.

Before applying online, candidates are advised to-

- Have a scanned (digital) image of passport size colour photograph with white background and signature in jpeg format not exceeding 50 KB and 15 KB respectively in size.
Documents/ Testimonials required to be uploaded at the time of filling up online application form are :

Candidates age must not be below 21 (twenty one) years and above 44 (forty four) years. The upper age limit Is relaxable as per the govt rule.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC/ equivalent examination Admit Card-Certificate Issued by a recognized Board and no other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

Selection Procedure and other important instructions:

Candidates will have to appear tor a written test and practical test at their own expenses if and when called for
The written test will be of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based
Candidates should also note that the incomplete and wrongly tilled in application form will be summarily rejected and canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.
