Online applications are invited by Gauhati High Court, Guwahati from the citizens of India for recruitment of Stenographer Grade – II and Stenographer Grade – III
Name of the posts: Stenographer Grade – II
No. of post: 13
Pay: Rs. 22,000 – 87,000 + GP 9,700 (PB-3)
Age: 18-38 years (as on 31/3/18)
Education Qualifications:
- The candidate must be a Graduate from a UGC recognized University as on the date of advertisement.
- The candidates must have a Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit pass completion certificate/ diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.
- The candidates must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.

Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ University as on the date of advertisement.
- Candidates should possess a Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography [Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit pass/ completion certificate/ diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.
