Good news for applicants. Written examination for the Post of Junior Administrative Assistant in the Assam Secretariat is scheduled to be held on 28 january (sunday) 2018. Written Examination for recruitment of Junior Administrative Assistant in the Janata Bhawan is rescheduled on 28-01-2018 ( Sunday) instead of 21-01-2018 (Sunday). Candidates applied for the Post of Junior Administrative Assistant in the Assam Secretariat in response to the Government Advertisement Reference No S(E)71/2014/163, dated 21.08.2017 are hereby informed that:
- The Written Examination will be held on 28.01.2018 in all the District Head Quarters of Assam.
- The eligible list of candidates who have been found eligible to appear for the Written Test will be uploaded in the official website.
- All information/instructions to the candidates and the Admit Cards will be available in the above website from 10.01.2018.
- Candidates should visit the website to download their individual Admit Card.
- All candidates are required to produce their Admit card in the examination centre. Without Admit Card no candidate will be allowed to sit for the Written Examination.
- No Mobile Phones, Calculators and any kind of communication devices will be allowed to carry inside the’ Examination Centre.
- Eligibility of candidate to sit in the written exam is checked on the basis of the information provided in their Application Form.

An admit card issued by the recruitment board of Assam comprise of very important things like Roll No., Exam Date, Venue of Examination, Address of Exam Centre, Timing of Exam, Photo of the applicants and signature. So it is compulsory for the applicants for Junior Administrative Assistant – JAA written exam Admit card /Hall Ticket download under Assam Secretariate as it will help them to get all the aforesaid information. Besides, it is very necessary to bring Junior Administrative Assistant – JAA written exam Admit card Hall Ticket at the exam center as without it participants cannot appear in the examination.

- Enter Registration number of candidate.
- Details of the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Take print out of the admit card.
It is advisable to bring one of the original ID proof along with Candidates color passport size photograph at the exam center as it will/may be required to verify the identity of the applicants. ID proof can be any of the following :
- Aadhar Card
- PAN card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Voter ID
