Assam forest recruitment of Special Rhino Protection Force Constable: SRPF Applications are invited through online mode from eligible candidates permanent residence of the districts of Golaghat, Nagaon, Sonitpur, Biswanath and Karbi Anglong for recruitment of Constable in Special Rhino Protection Force – SRPF (under newly created Special Tiger Protection Force ) for Kaziranga Tiger Reserve (KTR), as per the guidelines issued by National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), Government of India, New Delhi

Pay scale: Pay Band-2 – Rs.14,000 – to Rs.49,000/ -with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,600/-P.M. plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Number of vacancy: 90 Nos.
Category wise vacancy: Unreserved – 46, OBC/MOBC – 24, ST(P) – 9, ST(H) – 5, SC – 6, Total= 90 nos.
Age limit: In between 18 to 25 years as on 1st January of 2017 (means the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.1999 and after 01.01.1992). For candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates there is a relaxation of upper age limit by 5 years.
Education qualification: Candidate must pass HSLC or Class 10 from a recognised Board.

Medical Standards required: Candidates must be medically fit for selection. Tehey must not have knocked knee, flat foot or squint in eyes, and they should posses high colour vision. They must be free from from diseases like hernia, piles, diabetes , respiratory diseases etc.
Place of Posting : Selected candidates will be posted as Constable in Special Rhino Protection Force – SRPF in Kaziranga Tiger Reserve (KTR).
How to apply:
Candidates are required to apply thorough online mode from 10.00 hrs on 5th July, 2017 through the Assam Forest website www.assamforest.in and shall be acceptable upto the midnight of 21st July, 2017.
Application fee: Rs.250/ for General Candidates, Rs.150/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates, and No application fee for BPL candidates (BPL Card holders only). Ration Cards not acceptable. Mode of fee payment is online only during the form submission.
Written Test: Written test will consist of 50 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet.

The candidates should upload scanned copy online and also bring a set of attested photocopies along with the originals of the following documents/materials for verification by the Selection Committee on the date of the Test.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
- age proof Certificate ( HSLC or equivalent recognized Board Admit Card/ Certificate)
- HSLC or equivalent examination Certificate issued by the Recognized Board only
- HSLC or equivalent examination Mark-sheet issued by the Recognized Board only
- Certificate of sports, game etc. (if any).
- Experience certificate of serving in Home guards/Casual worker in Forest Dept and of NCC certificate (if any).
- Caste Certificate from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to ST(P)/ST(H)/SC/OBC & MOBC.
- Upload recent passport size photo online and bring 2 (two) copies of passport size recent photographs.
- Printed receipt cum reference number with date of online payment made.
- BPL Card with BPL Number (only for BPL candidates seeking application fee exemption, Ration Card not acceptable) issued by Circle Officer/ BDO. The BPL Number should tally with the BPL data o P&RD Department
Mode of selection:
Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by written examination. PST/PET and Written Test will held only at one venue i.e. Bokakhat town, Golaghat District. Candidates qualified in PST/PET will be called for the Written Test in order of merit at the rate of 5 (five) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category.
