Applications are hereby invited from the Indian National for Female candidates to offering voluntary services as Anganwadi Workers & Anganwadi Helpers in the following 10 (Ten) Nos. of existing vacant Anganwadi Centre under Silchar (R) ICDS Project. Cachar. Interested candidates willing to offer voluntary services may submit applications in the proforma specified by this office, supported by necessary documents subject to fulfillment of the conditions as mentioned below. A passport size photograph of the applicant must be attached with the application.

Anganwadi Helper Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Anganwadi Worker & Anganwadi Helper should be voluntary services.

• The candidate for the post of Anganwadi Worker (AWW), Anganwadi Helper (AWH) in Anganwadi Center shall be a local women residing in the local village and within the functional area of the concerned Anganwadi Center. The residence of the candidates for the post of Angawadi Worker (AVVW), Anganwadi Helper (AWH) of the concerned Angawadi center must be from the said locality within the functional area of concerned Anganwadi So that the candidates belong to the concerned area only can apply.
• The Candidate shall be of the age group of 18 to 44 years as on 01-01-2017.
• The candidate for the post of Anganwadi Workers (AWW) should have the qualification of HSLC/AHM examination passed from the Board of Secondary Education Assam or its equivalent examination from a recognised Board by the Govt. of Assam. In case there is no such qualified candidate, educational qualification may be relaxed up to class VIII pass according to the local condition.

Anganwadi Helper Recruitment Selection Procedure.

• Selection of candidate for the post of Anganwad Worker pall be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in HSLC/AHM examination passed and selection of candidate for the post of Anganwadi Helper shall be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the Annual Examination of Class —VIII. However, there will be a Personality test of the eligible candidates for the post of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper. They shall also verify the Educational Qualification Certificate, other certificates produced by the candidates, make assessment of overall Health Status of the candidate.
• However, the candidate for the post of Anganwadi Worker, who passed the HSLC/AHM Examination in Compartmental (First Chance & Second Chance) all the mark sheets, must be submitted along with the application. In case for the post of Anganwadi Helper. the candidate must be submitted mark sheet of the Annual Examination of Class –VIll passed along with application form.

• For the Anganwadi Centre located in the Village/ locality having more than 40% of the SC, ST or Tea Tribe population, the selection of candidates for the post of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper shall be made, from amongst the said majority community.

(a) Candidates belonging of SC/ST/Tea Tribes communifies should submit a certificate issued by the concerned compebant authority.

(b) Married women should be selected from the local where the Anganwadi Centre is established and living with her husband. But it may be relaxed in case of Divorced Women and widow.

(c) As per Govt. Notification- No. SWD 449/2007/29, Dated 12.09.2007, 3% post shall be reserved for disable candidate. Photocopy of the Disability Certificate issued by competent authority should be attached atongwith the application form and the original disable certificate to be produced to the Selection Committee at the time of Interview/ Personality Test.

Anganwadi Helper Recruitment Rejection of application

The application shaft be rejected if any candidate submits incomplete application form. the application of those candidates. who do not fulfill the mandatory requirement mentioned in above shall be rejected.

Anganwadi Helper Recruitment Rejection of candidature

A candidate who fulfills the criteria mentioned above in point 1 & 2 may not be deprived except on the following ground.

• She has a history of unsound mind.
• Possess poor health or suffers from some serious disease or ailment which makes her physically unfit for discharging the multifarious responsibilities of the job
• She has been involved in criminal case.
• If she is a regular students of school/ college.

1. The prescribed Application Form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Silchar (R) I.C.D.S. Project. Meherpur, Silchar, Cachar upto 31.052017 in all working days in between 11.00 AM to 3-00 PM.
2. The Filled-up application will be received in all working days between 11 -00 AM to 3-00 PM. The last date of received of application is upto 31.05.2017. No applications will be received after stipulated date.
3. The candidates should submit self attested photo copy of the certificates/ testimonials alongwith passport size photograph attached with the application form. The candidates must produce the original certificate testimonial etc. at the time of interview personality Test.
4. The list of valid application shall be hang in the notice board of the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Silchar (R) ICDS Project, Deputy Commissioner. Cachet. Silchar, Circle Sather Sadar Revenue Circle, District Social Welfare Officer. Cachar, Silchar, Block Development Officer. Silchar Development Block, and Bhajantipur, Kanakpur, Berenga, Tarapur. Tupkhana, Ramnagar, Ambikapur Goan Panchayat Offices under Silchar Development Block well in the advance of the selection test. 5. No TA/ DA will be provided for the purpose.
6. For the Anganwadi Worker & Anganwadi Helper will receive monthly Honorarium/ Remuneration as per provision of the Govt.
