ARIAS Society Recruitment 2026

The Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of 21 Accountant, MIS Specialist, Assistant Engineer, Rural Finance Specialist, Livelihood Coordinator, Hydrology Specialist, GIS & MIS Executive, Financial Management Specialist, and Junior Engineer posts. Details of ARIAS Society Recruitment

1. Accountant- CPIU

No of posts: 02 Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 60,000/- pm to Rs. 75,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Graduate/ Postgraduate in Commerce from any Govt. recognized University with in depth knowledge of accounting/financial management procedures applicable for ADB/World Bank/ externally funded projects and having hands on experience of operating Tally accounting software.

Experience & desired skills: Minimum, 7 (seven) years of working experience in project/program financial accounting, for ADB/World Bank/ externally funded financed projects and with hands on experience of operating Tally accounting software.

 

2. Jr. MIS Specialist, PMU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 60,000/- pm to Rs. 75,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field from any Govt. recognized University.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum 7 (seven) years of working/ professional experience in MIS development, data management, and reporting, preferably in externally aided projects, government programs, or development sector organizations.
  • Experience in development and management of real time web based MIS platforms, databases, dashboards, and data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (such as PHP, JavaScript, React JS, Node JS etc.), Web Technologies, Development Tools, and familiarity with GIS applications and integration with MIS will be an added advantage.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, MS Excel, and reporting software, along with good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across different levels.

 

3. Assistant Engineer-PIU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 60,000/- pm to Rs. 75,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from any Govt. recognized institute/University. Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering will be given preference.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum 7 (seven) years of professional experience in Civil Engineering including in engineering design and field execution of civil works of varied nature.
  • Candidates having experience of working in externally aided projects or public sector agencies will be given preference.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience of-
    • estimation, quantity survey, Land survey etc.;
    • working with drafting software such as Auto CAD (latest version) or any other similar engineering applications;
    • working with Project Management Software like MS project or Primavera; adequate knowledge and experience of working with MSWord/Excel/ PowerPoint/Project and Internet based applications.
  • Good social, analytical and planning skills is desirable; the candidate must demonstrate initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams

 

4. Rural Finance Specialist , PIU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 90,000/- pm to Rs. 1,30,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree, preferably postgraduate degree from any Govt. recognized institute/University, in rural finance, economics, business administration, development studies, or a related field.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years in planning and implementing microfinance, agribusiness or rural development projects.
  • Experience in working in ADB and/or other financing agencies- is preferred.

 

5. Livelihood Coordinator, CPIU

No of posts: 04 Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 50,000/- pm to Rs. 60,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Masters/Postgraduate degree from any Govt. recognized institute/University in Livelihoods, Entrepreneurship Development, Food Security, Agriculture and allied subject (Agricultural Extension), Agribusiness, value chain Development, Rural Development, Social sciences, or a related field. Supplemental training in Income Generation/Entrepreneurship, Gender Analysis/Mainstreaming, Micro finance preferred.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in promoting livelihoods interventions in areas including Skills Training, Micro-Lending, Micro-Savings, Employment Generation, Alternative/ Additional Income Generation, and Social Protection, Set up of Economic Cooperatives, Cash Transfer Grants, etc.
  • Experience of working with ADB/World Bank or other donor-funded development programs will be an added advantage.

 

6. Hydrology Specialist- PIU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 1,00,000/- pm to Rs. 1,30,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: A postgraduate degree from any Govt. recognized institute/University in Hydrology or Water Resources or Soil & Water Conservation Engineering or Irrigation Engineering or Geology or Earth Science or Environmental Science or a related field. Candidates having basic knowledge of hydrological modelling tools (e.g., SWAT, HEC-HMS) will be preferred

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum 5 (five) years of professional experience in hydrological studies and water resources assessment. Candidates having experience on wetland ecosystems or watershed management will be preferred.
  • Candidates having prior experience of working in project(s) funded by the ADB or the World Bank or other Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) will be preferred.

 

7. GIS & MIS Executive, CPIU

No of posts: 04 Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 50,000/- pm to Rs. 60,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree from any Govt. recognized institute/University in GIS, Geography, Environmental Sciences, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience in GIS & MIS systems, preferably in Externally Aided Project/ Central Govt Sponsored Project, etc
  • Proven experience with spatial software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), database management (e.g., PostgreSQL/Post GIS, SQL Server), and MIS platforms.
  • Experience in the fisheries, wetlands, or natural resource management sector is desirable.
  • Fluency in English. Candidates having proficiency in local language will be an advantageous.

 

8. Financial Management Specialist, PIU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 90,000/- pm to Rs. 1,30,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Masters in Commerce/ MBA Finance or related field from any Govt. recognized institute/University.

Experience & desired skills:

  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in financial management, accounting, auditing with professional firms, government agencies.
  • Experience in externally funded projects financed by ADB or World Bank and a sound knowledge of relevant ADB procedures/policies.

 

9. Financial Management Executive, PIU

No of posts: 01 Post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 60,000/- pm to Rs. 75,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce from any Govt. recognized institute/University with in-depth knowledge of financial management procedures applicable for ADB/World Bank /externally funded projects and having hands on experience of operating Tally accounting software.

Experience & desired skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management related activities in any World Bank/Externally aided project or similar Govt. of India funded projects/National level reputed projects, with minimum 1 (one) year in Govt. projects.
  • Experience of operating Tally accounting software and using Internet based applications, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, etc. Proven practical skills in the aspects of finance and accounts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ADB financial management policies, best practice, systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated strong conceptual, analytical skills with clarity of thought process and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and accuracy with keen attention to detail.

 

10. Junior Engineer (Civil) –CPIU

No of posts: 05 Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 50,000/- pm to Rs. 60,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Atleast a Diploma (3 years course) in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering and Planning / Construction Technology from any technical institutes recognized by AICTE. The Diploma course must be a regular course. Diploma course obtained through distant/ online mode of education shall not be considered. Candidates with Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering and Planning / Construction Technology will also be considered for this position.

Experience & desired skills:

  • Minimum five (5) years of working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works is essential.
  • Candidates having experience in similar capacity and sound working knowledge in externally aided projects/ programs financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB)/ World Bank (WB) / Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), etc. shall be preferred.
  • Computer Proficiency: Candidate must have proven experience of using Internet based applications, advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel etc. in addition to expertise in Computer Aided Engineering design/CAD, comprehensive structural finite element analysis and design applications and other related applications

The Reporting and Registration time is 09.00 am to 10.00 am and no candidates shall be allowed to register after 10.00 am under any circumstances. The test/interview will be held from 11.00 am onwards.
