Assam Land Records Department Recruitment Details
1. Land Records Assistant
No of Posts: 579 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.14,000 – Rs. 70,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200 along with other allowances.
Required Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from any Central or State recognized Board.
- Candidates must have passed Recorder Certificate Class Course Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 as per Advertisement for RCCC Training Examination issued by the Office of the Director of Land Records, Assam (except Sixth Schedule districts/other State).
- Candidates must have proficiency in use of Computers having computer typing speed minimum 30 WPM in English and 15WPM in Assamese/Bengali.
Age: Age of the candidates should be between 21 years to 40 years as on 01.01.2026. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Class- X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark sheet issued by recognized Central/State Board/Council where age/Date of Birth is clearly mentioned.

- Physically Handicapped certificate issued by competent authority, if any.
- Declaration Form-A (Application of Small Family norms).
- Mobile No./WhatsApp No./Email address(mandatory).
- Documentary support for any other claim(s) made.
- Those candidates who are already in Government service should produce NOC (No objection Certificate) from the respective HoDs (Heads of Departments) at the time of the Skill Test/ Document Verification.
