Assam Finance Department Recruitment Details
1. Procurement Consultant
No of Posts: 02 Posts
Salary: ₹1,50,000–₹2,15,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate from a recognized University or Institution.
Experience: 10 (Ten) years of overall professional experience out of which minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in public procurement.
2. Junior Procurement Consultant
No of Posts: 05 Posts
Salary: ₹95,000–₹1,60,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university / institute.
Experience: At least 7 years of work experience, with demonstrated involvement in public procurement from the department/procuring entity side, including any combination of the following:
- Procurement through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM);
- Procurement through the Assam Tenders portal; and/or
- Offline procurement and tender processes, including preparation of bid documents, bid evaluation, and award of contract.
3. Procurement Support Associate
No of Posts: 01 Post
Salary: ₹55,000–₹90,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduation from a recognized university / institute.
Experience: Minimum 5 (five) of relevant experience in Process Management/ IT Management/ Team Management. Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with demonstrated ability to draft official documents, correspondence and reports.
4. Procurement Support Staff
No of Posts: 05 Posts
Salary: ₹35,000–₹51,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university / institute.
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in helpdesk support / MIS data entry/ IT Support/any government experience. Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
5. Senior Software Developer

Salary: ₹95,000–₹1,60,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science/Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized University or Institution.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development, application design, database development and related IT services and in delivering and implementing similar software development assignments. Mandatory experience in software development using

6. Legal Expert

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised Institution or University.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in indirect tax administration, including substantial experience in GST, VAT, CST and other Central/State taxation laws.
- In case of Post Graduate/Master’s degree in Law, the minimum relevant professional experience shall be 10 Years.
7. Additional IT Project Manage
No of Posts: 01 Post
Salary: ₹95,000–₹1,60,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / MCA/M.Sc. or equivalent AND PGDBM / MBA or equivalent from a recognized university/institution. environments.
Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience working with State/Central Government, PSUs, or reputed private IT organizations in IT/eGovernance projects.
- Demonstrated track record of leading the entire project lifecycle, including all phases of IT project management, execution, and implementation.
- Strong technical understanding of IT Audits, IT Service Management (ITSM), service delivery management, System Administration, Database Administration, enterprise applications, Network Monitoring, Incident Response, and Helpdesk Management tools.
- Experience in IT operations, Network Design & Development, IT infrastructure, IT Security & Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) will be preferred.
- Experience in working with Finance / Tax departments / State Excise departments will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Database Administrator

9. Network & Security Administrator

12. IT Expert (Social Registry & Data Governance)

Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, master data management, beneficiary/social registries, interoperability frameworks, and large-scale databases.

- Experience in API governance, metadata management, data quality assurance, and data exchange frameworks.

14. IT Expert-Application, Workflow & UX

15. Grievance Redressal & Quality Assurance (GRQA) Expert

Experience:
- Relevant post-qualification professional experience of at least 7 (seven) years in grievance redressal, citizen service delivery, customer experience or quality assurance, call centre/contact centre operations, or public service delivery.

16. Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) Expert

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/ Economics/ Finance/ Banking/ Management/ Statistics/ Mathematics/Engineering or any other relevant discipline from a recognised university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification professional experience in banking/ non-banking financial services/ insurance/ microfinance/ institutional finance/ financial sector regulation or policy/ public financial management or related areas, preferably at a senior management or policy level.
17. Project Manager (HRMIS & Pension)
