Assam State Warehousing Corporation Recruitment Details
1. Manager (Audit)
No of Post: 01 Post
Salary: Rs. 75,000/- (Rupees Seventy-Five Thousand) only.
Eligibility Criteria: Chartered Accountant.
Experience: Minimum experience of 3 (Three) years and above is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Finalization of the annual accounts and financial statements of the Corporation and coordination for their timely filing and audit in consultation with the F&A Branch.
- Coordination and completion of Internal Audit and Statutory Audit of the Corporation within the prescribed timelines in consultation with the F&A Branch.
- Coordination and compliance in respect of Audit by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (AG), including timely reply of audit paras and inspection reports.
- Handling all taxation matters of the Corporation, including Income Tax, GST, TDS and other statutory/regulatory compliances, and their timely return filing and assessment.
- Preparation, monitoring and control of the annual budget of the Corporation, including budgetary control.
- Providing business analysis inputs to support and develop the warehousing business.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Conducting audit of all Warehouse Centres/Sub-Centres of the Corporation as and when required, for which TA/DA shall be provided as per the Corporation’s rules.
- Such other responsibilities as may be entrusted by the Managing Director from time to time.
