Selection Process for AIIMS Recruitment
The selection process for the recruitment will consist of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Candidates will be required to appear for an online examination.
- Skill Test – Applicable only for posts where specific practical or technical skills are required.
- Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents for verification of their eligibility and credentials.
- Medical Examination – Candidates who qualify the previous stages will undergo a medical fitness test as per the prescribed standards.
Details of Computer-Based Test (CBT):
Examination Pattern:
- The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for a total duration of 90 minutes.
- The question paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 400 marks.
- Each question will have four answer options, and every correct answer will carry 4 marks.
- Out of the 100 questions, 20 MCQs will be from General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge, while 80 MCQs will be related to the respective post/domain.
- The syllabus will be based on the educational qualifications and experience requirements prescribed for the respective posts.
Section-Wise Examination Structure:
- The question paper will be divided into 5 sections, each containing 20 questions.
- Each section will be allotted 18 minutes, making the total examination duration 90 minutes.
- Sections will appear one after another, and candidates can attempt questions only in the currently active section.
- Once the allotted time for a section is over, it will automatically close, and the next section will open.
- Candidates will not be able to revisit or modify answers from previous sections after moving to the next one.
- Therefore, candidates should carefully answer all questions, including those marked for review, within the allotted time of each section.
- The examination will be submitted automatically after the completion of the 90-minute duration.
