Salary: The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs 15,000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits.
Educational Qualification for Central Bank of India
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government
Local Language Proficiency: The apprentice should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local/official languages of that State.
Age Limit for Central Bank of India Recruitment
Age: Age of the candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.05.2026.

Central Bank of India Recruitment Selection Process
Selection for engagement of candidates who apply for apprenticeship in the Bank after paying requisite online fee shall have to undergo the selection process based on Online Test to be conducted by BFSI SSC and Test of Local Language of the State.
Online Examination:
The tentative structure of the Online examination (Objective type) would be as follows:

Test of Local Language:
- The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local/official languages of that State, as mentioned in the Annexure-II.
- The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test may not be engaged for apprentice. However, candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet having studied the specified opted local language of the State will not be required to undergo the language test.
- Candidates will have to appear for the test of the specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses. The Bank will not reimburse or bear any travelling expenses that may be incurred by the candidates for attending the said test.
Final Selection:
The final selection of the apprentices will be subject to
- Meeting the cut-off marks in the online examination to be decided by the Bank.
- Satisfactory verification of the documents related to Date of Birth/Category/Educational Qualification and other information furnished in the online application.
- Qualifying the test of the specified local language of the State
- Being found Medically Fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
