i) Name of the Post: Stenographer

Number of Posts: 1

Salary: Entry Pay Rs. 25,500/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission.

Required Qualification: 

• Higher Secondary Pass (pass in 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board).
• A Speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi.
• Working knowledge of Computer including use of Office Suites and databases.

ii) Name of the Post: Upper Division Clerk

Number of Posts: 25

Salary: Entry Pay Rs. 25,500/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission.

Required Qualification: 

• A degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases.

• All other categories: Rs. 500/-

Selection Process of ESIC Guwahati Recruitment 2019:

• In case of STENOGRAPHER the selection exam will be held via 2 phases in phase I there will be a written exam and after qualifying the written exam the candidates have to appear for phase II Computer Skill and Stenography test.
• In case of UPPER DIVISION CLERK the selection exam will be held via 2 phases in phase I there will be a prelims exam of 1 Hour. The candidates who will be able to qualify the written exam have to appear phase II Mains Exam of 2 Hours.
