SSA LP and UP Teacher Recruitment 2019 at BTAD Assam – With a view to support. strengthen and improve the quality of Elementary Education in BTAD, Assam in compliance with the Right to Education Act-2009 and with a view to ensure availability of teachers in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools of BTAD, Assam especially in High Pupil- Teacher Ratio (PTR) schools of remote and isolated areas and Single Teacher Lower Primary Schools, Applications are hereby invited in the prescribed format from L.P. and U.P. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified candidates of BTC area with professional qualification, who are Citizens of India as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of following positions of Assistant teachers at Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under SSA, Assam as shown in the table below. The district wise and category wise number of vacancy positions may increase or decrease subject to appointment of Assam. contractual teachers in regular post and obtaining approval from concerned Department. The posts are mainly available in the remote areas of BTAD and the interested candidates must be physically and mentally ready to serve in the remote areas if selected. How to Apply For SSA LP and UP Teacher Recruitment 2019 at BTAD Assam:
- The eligible candidates shall apply in the prescribed format as published in the official notification. No testimonials are required to enclose along with the application format. But at the time of document verification/ scrutiny the candidates have to submit a Xerox set of testimonials in support to his/ her candidature.
- The last date of submission of application to respective district is fixed on 21-01-2019.

- A candidate must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 43 years of age as on 1st January 2019.
- The candidates have to show their original testimonials at the time of document verification/ scrutiny in the respective districts.
- The district level verification will be held in the respective districts from 25-01-2019 to 29-01-2019. The district wise detailed schedule of verification of documents will be notified in the Notice Board of the office of the District Mission coordinator, SSA of concerned district.
- No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the verification process.
- The regular or contractual (under SSA) teachers working in Lower Primary and Upper Primary schools are not allowed to apply in any posts again under SSA.
- A candidate Call apply only in one district mentioned above.
- In case of differently able (PH) candidates, only Orthopedically Handicapped candidates may apply.
- The Contractual teachers will get all facilities including leave & other allowances as per Government norms.
- The procedure of selection shall be as per Govt. rules/ BTC norms
- Incomplete/ Defective/ Invalid application will be summarily rejected.
- Educational /Professional qualification shall be as per NCTE norms.
- The candidate should note that failing to appear before District Level Scrutiny, Selection & Verification Committee for verification of documents on the scheduled date and time will result in cancellation of his/her candidature.
- No further communication in this regard will be made
- The following original certificates and documents have to be produced and attested copies of the same tube submitted before the District Level Screening & Verification Committee on the specified date-
- Pass Certificate & Mark sheet of Higher Secondary and Graduation.
- Pass Certificate. Admit Card and Mark sheet of High School Leaving Examination.
- Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet of Professional Qualification like D.ELE4, B.Ed. etc.
- Pass certificate and Mark Shed of TET/CTET etc.
- Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plain or Hills)/OBC/ MOBC.
- Candidates with disabilities (Orthopedically Disabled) will have to enclose certificates of disabilities.
- Certificate of NCC (B & C certificate only), Sports and Cultural (Representing State or Nation).
