Regional Medical Research Centre, N. E. Region, (ICMR) releases notification for the post of Consultant and Data Entry Operator jobs in Assam.The posts are purely on temporary basis for a period of one year and will be renewed annually with periodical evaluation by the board and also depending upon the requirements of the  Institute.

Name of the posts:

1. Consultant – 2(two) posts[ out of which 1 (one) post for Administration and 1 (one) post for finance]

• Age of candidates for the post- Not exceeding 70 years
• Salary- Maximum of Rs. 60000/-PM (fixed) depending upon experience and Knowledge.
• Qualification and essential experience  – Retired Government employees with Bachelor degree  in any discipline and at the time of retirement drawing pay in the pay Band Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 54000 and above and having at least 10 years work experience in the administration, finance and accounts matters.

2. Data Entry Operator – 2 (two) posts (Grade B)

• Age of candidates for the post -Not exceeding 28 years of age.
• Salary – Max Rs. 18,000/- Per Month (fixed) (corresponding to PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 /- with Grade pay Rs. 2800/-)
• Qualification and experience essential- Candidates with Intermediate or 12^th (10+2) pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute and/ or 2 years experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organisation. A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions pee hour through speed test on computer.

Important Notes:

1. Age Concession- Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidate, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects servicemen  Ex-serviceman with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.  Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.
2. Candidates shortlisted will be called for test/interview at a last stage and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for short listing for the test or interview or selection.
